I was just going to paint the room and put off the remodel for a while...  Then I found the hole behind the sink.  Things just cascaded from there.

Ok, now I can see things more clearly.  With a little adjustment to some framing, I can do what I want.

Now the poorly installed framing (on the little short wall) has been removed, still have to figure out what to put back in its place...

New sink and vanity ready to be installed

Rest of drywall removed, a little more framing adjustment in the back corner, and new drain has been installed.

Ah, more challenges- found two blind electrical junction boxes when I removed the drywall.  One is visible, the other is above the opening inside the ceiling.

Supply plumbing finished, and first piece of new drywall in place.  Electrical rough ins completed.
